A Machine Operator is responsible to set up and operate complex machinery in the Manufacturing Dept. with minimal supervision according to applicable drawings. This employee must also inspect the quality of the materials and work in process as well as accurately complete associated paperwork.
Immediate openings for machine operators. Openings on Night Shift Mon, Tues, and Wed and night shift on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, both 7pm-7am.
1.Set up complex machines according to applicable drawings in a timely manner.
2.Inspect the quality of the materials and work in process.
3.Accurately process and handle associated paperwork as required for the work being completed.
4.Complete work in a timely manner according to departmental schedules.
5.Operate multiple machines fluently with a minimal amount of supervision.
6.Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
7.Request necessary supplies and resources required to complete the jobs assigned.
8.Alert management of problems with materials, tools, fixtures, machinery, etc.
9.Suggest improved or alternate methods of producing product.

2.Able to read and understand assembly drawings and build product accordingly.

4.Able to recognize quality problems with materials and work in process.
5.Able to use required tools, fixtures, rulers, etc. involved in the assembly process.

8.Previous CNC machine Operator experience or bindery experience is a plus!
9.If working nights or shifts with minimal supervision, must pass a criminal background check.
