About the Start! Heart Walk

The Start! Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun
family environment. This year more than 1 million walkers will participate in more
than 450 events, raising funds to save lives from America’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers
— heart disease and stroke.

About The Blue Ribbon Foundation
- We support the Blue Ribbon foundation through corporate contributions
The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation was established by the Fair Board to
conduct a major capital campaign for the renovation and preservation of the historic
Iowa State Fairgrounds. Since its inception in 1993, the Foundation has raised over
$60 million through individual contributions, state appropriations, in-kind services,
and corporate, federal and state grants.
